The Asian legacy Library is excited to announce that we’ve recently received both an Honorable Mention from the 2021 Webby Awards in the category of Non-Profit & Charitable Institutions, as well as 2 gold and I Silver medal from the Indigo Awards in the categories of Web Design, Non-Profit, and Branding.
“The Internet’s highest honor.”
— The New York Times
This year’s Webby Awards received 13,500 entries from 70 countries around the world and were reviewed by a global selection of industry-leading judges.
The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.
Established in 1996 during the Web’s infancy, The Webby is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences—a 2000+ member judging body. The Academy is comprised of Executive Members—leading Internet experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries, and creative celebrities—and Associate Members who are former Webby Winners, Nominees, and other Internet professionals.
Winners in the Website and Mobile Site category are selected for recognition based on: “overall experience,” as well as excellence in the following areas: Content, Structure & Navigation, Visual Design, Overall Experience, Functionality, and Interactivity.
“Most design competitions will tell you that by joining them, you will become the best.
We say that when you join us, we become the best”.
— Indigo Awards
The Indigo Awards celebrate, encourage, and promote creativity from around the globe. The Indigo Award Ceremony is held annually in the world’s most fascinating and cutting-edge cities. The work is judged by a jury handpicked for their innovative contributions in the digital design world.
Just as the indigo orchid stands out from nature’s palette with its rare and special beauty, Indigo champions exceptional projects that shine with an uncommon artistry. A fresh new take on design inspired composition and layout.
Congratulations to the entire ALL global team, and mostly to our supporters and sponsors, for without whom this significant achievement would not have been possible. Our website reflects the excellence of our mission and we are honored to have been recognized.
