the nexus of
source literature

Our digital library is the flagship destination and access point for our preservation programs. It is the nexus of source literature used by countless scholars, translators, and teachers.

All money raised or received by the Asian Legacy Library is used solely for the purpose of supporting its mission to locate, digitally preserve, and safeguard precious collections of cultural wisdom literature.

The Asian Legacy Library’s South India preservation centers—located in Hunsur, Bylakuppe, and Tibetan Dickey Larsoe—are dedicated to preserving Tibetan Buddhist heritage by digitizing rare manuscripts and xylographs.
